Venue Info:
Misltin Sports Park - Misltin Sports Park has strict policies which are outside Five Tool's control. Metal spikes are not allowed anywhere at Mistlin. Players will not be permitted to play if they have metal cleats. Keep in mind that their outfield is grass so it is reccomended that outfielders wear molded cleats. Mistlin Park does not allow sunflower seeds anywhere inside the complex (playing field and in the stands). They also do not allow outside food or drinks and/or coolers. Players/attendees are allowed to bring in water.
Champions Field - this is a new ballfield in Lathrop, CA. Please use the following address 2039 Garden Farms Ave, Lathrop, CA 95330. The address is also posted on the event page under the 'venues' tab.
All other venues are natural surfaces. Saint Mary's HS has a turf infield and mound but metal spikes are permitted.
NO ALCOHOL allowed on campus or in the vicinity of any venue.
Tournament Info:
4 games guaranteed
Home team is decided by coin flip. In bracket play & championship games the highest seed is home.
Game times are 2 hours or 7 innings with no new inning starting after 2 hours.
4 balls will be provided at the beginning of each game. Both teams are responsible for providing NFHS regulation baseballs from there.
EH & DH are allowed.
Pitch counts and innings pitched are at the coach's discretion. We will not be enforcing any pitching limitations. Please be responsible.
Ties: All pool play & consolation games can end in a tie after 7 complete innings or a 2-hour time limit.
Run Rules are 15 after 3, 12 after 4, and 10 after 5.
High School Federation Rules will apply.
Forfeits: Forfeits during tournament play (including consolation games) will result in a fine or suspension from future events.
Tie Breakers (only applied in bracket play or championship games): In the event that a game is tied after 7 complete or the 2-hour time limit, we will load the bases with 1 out.
Championship games: Run rules will apply. The high seed is the home team.
Division Formats:
15U American - Teams will play 3 pool-play games and be seeded. The top two seeds from Pools A & B will play a Championship bracket on Sunday. All other teams will play a consolation game on Sunday.
15U National - Teams will play 3 pool-play games and be seeded. The Pool A, B & C winners (pool winners will automatically be a top 3 seed) and the 4th highest seed will play a Championship bracket on Sunday. All other teams will play a consolation game on Sunday.
16U - Teams will play 3 pool-play games and be seeded. The Pool A, B & C winners (pool winners will automatically be a top 3 seed) and the 4th highest seed will play a Championship bracket on Sunday. All other teams will play a consolation game on Sunday.
17U - Teams will play 3 pool-play games and be seeded. The Pool A, B, C & D winners will play a Championship bracket on Sunday.All other teams will play a consolation game on Sunday.
