Coaches and Administrators – Add all coaches to your account so they are receiving all communications. This is a WOOD BAT EVENT! Five Tool will supply the first 3 game balls. Teams will need to equally add throwins if needed. NO SPIKES or SEEDS on the field, in the dugouts or in the stands (for any turf field). Immediate ejections for players, coaches, and fans. Molds, turfs, or tennis shoes are fine. Note: Always follow the online version for updated schedules (NOT A SCREENSHOT). RULES: Game times will be 7 innings or 2:15 minutes finish the inning. Must Follow MLB Pitch Smart Guidelines. Our staff will be monitoring and enforcing pitch counts and days rest needed for pitchers.
Reminders: The new MLB rule for trips is 4. Trips include and position player that goes to the mound as well. Please make sure that your position players are aware that if they go to the mound, it will be counted as a visit. The 2 Disengagements from the rubber Rule will not be in play. We will not use this rule since we are not using a pitch clock. No Courtesy Runners. If you run for your catcher, it is a substitution and the player is burned. No 3rd to 1st move allowed. It is a balk Any pitcher must face a minimum of 3 batters in an appearance or pitch to the end of an inning You can only DH for the pitcher. The Ohtani rule is in play where the pitcher can also be listed as the DH and stay in the lineup if removed from the mound. Extra Innings will be runner on 2nd (The last hitter from the previous inning) with no outs Managers and coaches that are ejected must leave the facility and will be suspended for 1 game. Players ejected must leave the facility, but do not face suspension unless it is an egregious act deemed by the umpires and the tournament staff. All coaches must submit a lineup with first and last names to the umpire and the Five Tool scorer. All substitutions MUST BE REPORTED to the game officials. (Umpire and FiveTool Scorekeeping) Make sure your rosters are finalized. Any illegal player participating in a game will be an immediate forfeit and suspension of the coach. Always clean your dugouts/bullpens after every game. If there is an issue from the previous game, find the Five Tool staff member on site before your game starts. Please reach out if you have any questions, and remember, seeds and spikes are an immediate ejection if they are in your possession at a turf field (stands/field/dugouts).
