FIVE TOOL ACADEMIC INDIVIDUAL SHOWCASES (2022-2025):

The purpose of Five Tool Academics is to promote high academic baseball players to colleges across the region and the country. Academic institutions flock to events that have large concentration of athletes they know they can meet rigorous admission requirements set by their respective universities. Based on the number of players that fit these schools from an academic and athletic perspective, Texas and the Southwest have become destinations to recruit for many academic programs.

Below is a baseline to be considered an academic athlete. We realize that most, if not all, 2024s and 2025s have not gone through ACT and SAT testing. If you believe you will meet these parameters, this will be a great opportunity to get on the radar of some high academic schools.

SUGGESTED REQUIREMENTS

GPA: 3.5 or higher

ACT: 25 or higher

SAT: 1200 or higher

*Please note: If you do not reach these thresholds, you can still attend an academic showcase. These are the suggest requirements for academic schools.

In the summer/fall of 2022 (TBA), Five Tool will host multiple academic individual showcases with college coaches in attendance. Rosters, metrics and video will be distributed to recruiting coordinators across the country for the winter events.

Identifier for the Five Tool Academic Team. Five Tool Academics will use the academic individual showcases to build rosters and travel to play in the Arizona Junior Fall Classic (azfallclassic.com).
