Club Championship Overview
Get ready for an exciting showcase of talent, strategy, and team competition at our upcoming Club Championship! This unique event is designed as a great opportunity to get multiple teams in your organization from different age groups together to compete in the same event, as clubs compete not only for individual team victories but also for the prestigious title of Club Champion. CLUB/ORGANIZATON CHAMPION GETS A PAID ENTRY INTO THE PRESTIGIOUS MATTINGLY EVENT AT THE MELISSA COMPLEX!
At the conclusion of the event, the organization with the highest total points across all its teams will be crowned Club Champion!
Individual Teams are also welcomed to compete!
In addition to the Club Champion, we will crown a Team Champion in each age division. After pool play, qualifying teams will advance to a Bracket Playoff, where they will compete for the title of division champion.
REMINDERS! Coaches and Administrators – Add all coaches to your account so they are receiving all communications. Metal Bats Please review the schedule, rules, and format for the event below. NO SPIKES or SEEDS on the field, in the dugouts or in the stands (for any turf field). Immediate ejections for players, coaches, and fans. Molds, turfs, or tennis shoes are fine.

RULES: Game times will be 2:00 finish the inning. 17u Division: Teams will play everyone in their pool then have one cross over game. Top two teams in each pool will advance to bracket play. The 3rd place finisher in each pool will play their 4th game against each other in consolation. 16u Division: Teams will play everyone in their pool. Top two teams in each pool will advance to bracket play. 3rd and 4th place finisher in each pool will play a single consolation game against the 3rd and 4th place finisher in the opposite pool. 15u Division: Teams will play 3 pool games. The top team in each pool and one wild card team will advance to Bracket play. All other teams will play a consolation game on Sunday. Five Tool will provide 2 new balls per game. Have some extra throw ins. Teams may bat 9 or 10 only. Both EH's & DH's are allowed. Pitch Counts and Innings Pitched are at the coach’s discretion. We will not be enforcing any pitching limitations. Bracket games will go to bases loaded, one out for the inning after time expires or the 8th inning, including the Championship Game. Run rules are at 8 after 5. Catchers MUST wear hockey style masks. No skull caps. One way pitch calling technology is allowed. NFHS rules in place otherwise. Coin flip for home/away in pool and consolation games. ROSTERS ARE DUE IMMEDIATELY! - Remind the players that they need to log in and update as much information as they can. They need to update academic info as well. College coaches are looking! Please login to your account and click on the players tab to edit your roster for the event. Always clean your dugouts/bullpens after every game. If there is an issue from the previous game, find the Five Tool staff member on site before your game starts. Please reach out if you have any questions, and remember, seeds and spikes are an immediate ejection if they are in your possession at a turf field (stands/field/dugouts).
